Empower youth with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to lead and tackle community challenges. Foster values of inclusivity, lifelong learning, and civic responsibility to instill in them a sense of confidence and agency towards their community.

We prioritize self-reflection and growth, covering group dynamics, communication, digital skills, and social work tools. Learning is enhanced through exploration journeys and project-based learning for contextual understanding and social action

Projects

Rural India Youth Leadership (RIYL)

This two-year program engages 25 young individuals on a journey of leadership and learning, empowering them to form youth clubs that will cultivate over 400+ grassroots youth leaders committed to practicing constitutional values.

These young leaders will promote active citizenship, driving personal and community development across 20+ panchayats in Kishanganj District. Key initiatives, such as building peer learning communities, digital knowledge-sharing platforms, and skill development programs, are aimed at fostering leaders ready to drive inclusive and sustainable change.

School of Programming (SoP)

A transformative program designed to empower young women from rural Bihar with software engineering skills–opening doors to aspirational careers and transforming their futures.

In collaboration with NavGurukul, the 21 month residential program, with a capacity of 100 students, enrols young women aged 17-29 in a program in which they learn software engineering (CSS, JavaScript, Python) and life skills, thereby bridging the gender gap in the STEM sector and creating a cohort of local role models.

Upon completing the program, students will have the opportunity to interview with and secure placements at leading tech companies in India.

Youth Exposure and Placements Opportunities

We partner with like-minded organizations to support the leadership and professional development of young people through exposure journeys, workshops, internships, courses, job placements, and other relevant opportunities. Additionally, we facilitate the process of finding these opportunities by holding information sessions, helping youth fill out applications, supporting interview preparation, and more.

Village Visionary

From 2015 to 2016, we implemented a pioneering youth leadership project. Fellows underwent comprehensive training, developing the necessary tools to become impactful leaders. They also completed self-designed capstone projects by mobilizing local resources. These projects encompassed initiatives like Anganwadi, awareness through drama, electrification efforts, and building community resource libraries.
